Happy 9th Birthday, Will!!

I can’t believe that that cute little 3-year old boy that welcomed me with open arms has turned into this handsome (sorry, cool) big boy!

Will turns 9 today.

This little girl…

is 6 months old today.

Can you believe it?

I can’t…

These six months have gone by so fast. On the one hand if feels like Tessa has been part of this family for so long. But it has only been 6 months. But she is growing up so fast.

In the last 2 weeks she has learned to roll over from her back to her front, and now can roll around. (unfortunately I haven’t been able to get that on video yet.)

She can now sit by herself.

She likes to give herself a bottle. (so nice sometimes!!)

She eats solids!

She likes oatmeal, carrots, green beans, peas, squash and an occasional piece of fruit.

This is her Mr Miyaki face (The Karate Kid) after eating oatmeal.

She likes to nap in our big bed (and makes Will jealous).

But normally we will find her like this in her own bed in the morning.

(I still am wary of her sleeping on her stomach, like today she is still asleep at 10.21 am.)

Will is the only one who can make her laugh out loud.

She is the cutest little girl.

We love having her in our family.

She is the best little baby: sleeps through the night most nights, eats well, adores Will, and loves her mom and dad.
